Thinking Of Buying Dual Sim Mobile Phones From CHINA?

Here are many reasons why you shouldn't buy dual sim phones from China or Hong Kong…

No matter what the seller will tell you, if you buy from outside the EU, you WILL have to pay 20% Vat and up to 14% Import duty. What appears to be cheaper will have expensive additional costs. Customs' invoices will be sent through often after the item has arrived.

Most courier companies add a £10 administration fee to cover their administrative costs of VAT & duty to collect your import duty payment such as Fedex, UPS, DHL.

You will have to wait normally up to 24 working days for the Dual Sim Phone to arrive, and it may not arrive at all.

If the seller attempts to get you in avoiding these taxes by declaring the item illegally as a gift there is a very high probability customs will impound your item. Most packages are scanned or opened on entry to this country. You will then have paid out a lot of money as the customs will estimate it’s real value, as the Dual Sim Phones supplier can not get the item back for you.

Warranty will also be an issue if you buy dual sim phones from China or Hong Kong. If you're lucky enough the seller which does offer a warranty you'll find that should a fault occur the cost of sending the item back is expensive (up to 50% of the item value). More often there is only a 3 month warranty. Once you have returned the phone you are inclined to accept their fault diagnosis.

Having dealt with many suppliers in China & Hong Kong often the mobile is retuned after no repair. Whilst many phones look similar is is normal practice in China specifically to clone and sell an inferior model. All our mobiles are sourced from reliable suppliers. As a result of this we are prepared to guarantee our products for 12 months. Our customers are seldom disappointed with our service & warranty.

After years of making fake luxury bags and cheap DVDs, they are capturing market share from the world’s biggest mobile phone makers.
Although shanzhai phones have only been around a few years, they already account for more than 20 percent of sales in China, which is the world’s biggest mobile phone market, according to the research firm Gartner.
They are also being illegally exported, to Russia, India, the Middle East, Europe, even the United States.
